Course Date:  October 3-5, 2017

Course Registration:

Obtain hands-on training in a single-use biomanufacturing process using mammalian cell culture and the latest technologies spanning upstream and downstream operations. Participants will gain laboratory experience in media and solution preparation (single-use mixing systems), cell culture (single-use bioreactors in both rocker and stirred-tank configurations), cell harvest (single-use centrifugation and depth filtration options), as well as downstream operations. In addition to extensive hands-on experience with the process, the course will also address many of the common concerns when implementing single-use processes (i.e., sterile connections, environmental concerns/carbon footprint, business economics, and validation). The course covers material that is relevant to anyone in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry involved in the implementation of single-use technologies.
