When Anna Blade was looking to make the transition from the university to the private sector, she knew NCBiotech’s jobs board would help her find the opportunity she wanted. “I have known about the NCBiotech website for a while now, so naturally started to look there while I was job searching,” said Blade.

Blade, who was working as a postdoc research fellow in UNC Charlotte’s biology department, used the NCBiotech jobs board to find a position with WordWide Medical Products, where she now works as a laboratory consultant. Her position involves serving as a resource for biotech and academic laboratories between Charlotte and Asheville.

Blade knew the type of job she wanted and knew that the NCBiotech website could help her find it. “I have lived in North Carolina for many years and wanted to stay in North Carolina with my new job,” she said. “During my job search, I regularly used this jobs board as a resource. I found this position on the NCBiotech jobs board and applied online. Within a couple of days, I was contacted by the company and hired within a month.”

“The NCBiotech jobs board is a great resource for professionals in the biotech industry,” she added. “The jobs listed on this site are high quality and relevant jobs.”
