The North Carolina Biotechnology Center maintains a full-service library specializing in the commercial, educational and societal aspects of biotechnology.
We'll help you find the information you need in various sources including:

- Free or fee-based resources.
The five-person library staff can access more than 700 databases through commercial vendors.
The library charges $60 per hour for research work for North Carolina clients and $85 per hour for others, plus database costs. Pharmaceutical product development and patent information usually entails additional costs. Cost estimates can be provided in advance.
Note: As of July 1, 2008 hourly rates for research work will increase to $80 per hour for North Carolina clients and $105 per hour for others, plus database costs.

9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday except during special occasions.
