Grants valued up to $5,000 are available through BioWork, the basic training for entry-level process technicians in the pharmaceutical, chemical and bioprocess manufacturing industries.
Any North Carolina community college may request reimbursement for instructional and supply expenses of offering BioWork through either Continuing Education or Industrial Extension services.

The BioWork course was developed and produced by the Biotechnology Center's Education and Training Program, in cooperation with the North Carolina Community College System and the biomanufacturing industry.
