United States Patent and Trademark Office — Everything here is in the public domain and is full-text searchable from 1976 to today. Several full-page image searches are available for granted patents back to 1790.
Patent Lens — An independent patent database from CAMBIA, an Australian non-profit institute. Includes guides and tutorials as well as a searchable database of patents and patent applications from the U.S., Europe and Australia, all in one place. Fulltext pdf's are available for most patents.
European Patent Office — The European Patent Organisation and the national offices of its member states. Search and view full text patent applications. Includes Japanese patents.
Dialog Intellectual Property Databases — Dialog's intellectual property databases include U.S. copyright data, trademarks from 14 countries plus the European Community and WIPO, four million trademark images, Japanese trademarks in English, over 15 million patents covering 60 countries, U.S. business process patents and Korean patent application abstracts in English. There is an additional fee for searching these databases.

PharmaDeals — A database from UK-based PharmaVentures, which includes about 32,000 healthcare and biotech deals. Financial details are listed, where publicly available. Available for use in the library.
Royalty Rates for Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology — Sixth edition. Available for use in the library.
Knowledge Express - Knowledge Express is a subscription information service for use in technology transfer, intellectual property, licensing, and business development. KE's searchable databases provide information on biomedical deals, drug pipelines, drug sales, licensable technologies, patents and royalty rates and more. Annual KE Subscription fees start at $7,950. Available for use in the library.
Pharmalicensing — A tool for pharmaceutical and biotechnology licensing executives. This site allows you to promote your company and technologies to the global licensing community. Parts of the website are freely accessible, and others require a paid subscription.
