About the system:
This system allows each company to submit and manage its own job postings on the North Carolina Biotechnology Center Web site. The system allows for each company to either maintain one account, or to allow multiple people at the same company (for example an employment agency) to have their own accounts.
Important: The company contact information - address, phone, fax and Web site - is used for all jobs unless the company employee submits his or her own. If company contact information changes, you must submit that change to Center staff.
To submit a job, you must first sign up for an account. Required information, which is used only by the Center's Web site staff for the jobs pages, includes the company's name, information about the company, the name of a contact person and an e-mail address to contact the person submitting the job. Jobs themselves must include a title and a brief description.
A Center staff member will approve your information and send you a password. From there, you can log into the job management system.
You may also submit job announcements, not resumes, via e-mail to Ann Burns. Please refer to our posting guidelines below.
Using the system:
Jobs:
Job titles, job codes and the posting's expiration date are listed on this page. Clicking on the job title will show you the whole posting as it appears on our Web site. Clicking the "Edit" link will take you to a form to modify information about the job itself. You can change the posting's expiration date here, or you can click on the "Remove" link to end the job listing the same day.
Post a Job:
Enter the Job Title, Description, Qualifications, and Job Code in the appropriate boxes. Hit submit, and the job will appear on the left-hand side of your screen. It has also been added to the list of jobs on our site.
Posting Guidelines:
Job postings should contain the following information:
- Position title
- Company name
- Company location (city)
- Position description and/or job requirements

The Biotechnology Center strives to maintain consistency and accuracy with all Web-related documents. To that end, here are some tips to make your job posting suitable for viewing.
- Do not capitalize every letter in the job title
- Do not use such terms as "5+ years experience" or "-3 years of clinical training" Instead, please write: "more than five years experience is required," or "less than three years of clinical training is acceptable"
- When formatting job postings in HTML, please do not capitalize the code
- Use
