Therapy-resistant pain is a major medical problem. A proprietary transdermal delivery technology of Achelios Therapeutics will be employed in animal models in the Liedtke-Lab in order to enhance our understanding of pathological pain, and to advance therapeutic options by delivering antialgesics effectively to nerve endings directly under the skin.
