Efficient cellulose production is paramount to all downstream industries that rely on it, particularly in its use for biomass conversion to energy. A multi-disciplinary three-pronged, high impact, and one-pot approach is proposed to convert the cellulose (poly-glucose) in wood into simple sugars (glucose) that are easily fermented to biofuel.
