Emerging Vectorborne Diseases in the Southeastern United States: An Evaluation for National and Global Security
Vectorborne diseases are historically common and threaten re-emergence in southeastern US. Arboviruses including West Nile Fever are common and Dengue is moving North. Tickborne infections concentrate in the SE and the northeastern scourge of Lyme disease is moving southward causing contention and anxiety. We bring together international experts in preparation.
