Invasive species damage environments, threaten the survival of native species, and cause economic loss. We will develop a genetic procedure for producing infertile animal. Competitive mating of sterile animal with fertile individuals would eventually reduce overall reproductive capacity achieving the goal of population control of invasive animals.
