Nanobiotechnology

Formerly known as the Center of Innovation for Nanobiotechnology, COIN has changed its name to the Center of Innovation Network to better reflect its overall mission.  At its core, nanobiotechnology is the know-how to manage and manipulate individual atoms and molecules used in the life sciences.  This know-how has far-ranging applications across all sectors of the life sciences including biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, agricultural biotechnology and more. The Center of Innovation Network works to inform, educate and facilitate collaborations, and thereby accelerate economic growth across all of the sectors impacted by nanobiotechnology.

NC COIN is an independent, membership driven 501c3 with a mission to foster innovation and economic development in nanobiotechnology across North Carolina. COIN does this by providing informational  and educational events, programs and seminars that foster networking and collaboration across the wide constituency which includes all organizations interested in leveraging nanobiotechnology within the life sciences.

COIN is guided by a board of directors including executives of companies developing new products using nanotech.
