Sperry Krueger, MLIS
Sperry provides research and data analysis services to NCBiotech Center staff as well as to the economic development and entrepreneurial biotechnology communities in North Carolina. She’s a self-admitted data geek who enjoys building information tools. Transforming data from unconventional resources into easy-to-read reports and meaningful data visualizations is her specialty. From creating databases to data-mining to providing answers to clients, she is happiest in the weeds.
Sperry earned her Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina. Before joining NCBiotech in 2001, she was a news researcher at The News & Observer in Raleigh, NC. Sperry has received a variety of honors for her professional service activities – from the “Outstanding Student Award for Leadership” in library school to the Meritorious Achievement Award from NC Special Libraries Association in 2014.
