From north of Charlotte via I-85
- Take exit 45A (Harris Blvd). Merge onto Harris, go to Hwy 29 (Tryon Street) turn left
- Proceed through the J. W. Clay intersection; take the first right turn (.5 miles) at the sign Charlotte Research Institute UNC Charlotte (*see below)
From north of Charlotte via I-77
- Take exit 18 (Harris Blvd)
- Turn left onto Harris and go to Hwy 29 (Tryon Street) and turn left
- Proceed through the J. W. Clay intersection; take the first right turn (.5 miles) at the sign Charlotte Research Institute UNC Charlotte (*see below)
From south of Charlotte via I-85
- Take exit 45A (Harris Blvd). Merge onto Harris, go to Highway 29 (Tryon Street) turn left
- Proceed through the J. W. Clay intersection; take the first right turn (.5 miles) at the sign for the Charlotte Research Institute at UNC-Charlotte (*see below)
From south of Charlotte via I-77
From Highway 485
- Take Highway 29 exit toward Charlotte;
- Proceed to J. W. Clay intersection and make a U-turn; and
- Take the first right turn (.5 miles) at the sign for the Charlotte Research Institute at UNC-Charlotte (*see below)
From Charlotte\Douglas International Airport
- Leave terminal on Airport Freeway Road, go straight at traffic light;
- Get in left lane to exit for Billy Graham Parkway North to I-85;
- Stay in right lane on Billy Graham Parkway through two traffic lights;
- Immediately under second light, turn right onto I-85N toward Concord;
- Go 11.2 miles to Exit 45 (Harris Blvd East);
- Go one mile to the UNC-Charlotte Campus. Take exit 45A (Harris Blvd);
- Merge onto Harris, go to Highway 29 (Tryon Street) turn left; and
- Proceed through the J. W. Clay intersection; take the first right turn (.5 miles) at the sign Future Home of the Charlotte Research Institute at UNC-Charlotte. (*see below)
*After entering the campus off of Highway 29 (Tryon)
- Take first right and park in spots available in front of building or in lot straight ahead;
- Parking passes for dashboard of your car are available at the CRI front desk;
- Follow brick sidewalk to double doors facing road; and
- When inside, enter CRI suite through first set of double doors on your left. You will need to get a parking pass.
